In my personal experience, during my time studying law at university, my passion was directed towards philosophy of law and topics with broader societal implications, such as constitutional law, administrative law, and planning law. Within the realm of planning law, I developed a particular affinity for property law, a fascination that persists to this day.
I distinctly recall that many second-year law students often grappled with challenging concepts, especially when it came to servitudes.
It’s a commonly held belief that these concepts can also be quite perplexing for professionals like lawyers and architects who frequently need to provide guidance on issues like wall placement, window obstruction, and excavation distances during construction works.
However, I firmly believe that servitudes are a topic that can be made much more approachable with the right presentation. That’s why I took great care to ensure that my new book, titled ‘Ligi Civili – Servitujiet’ is easily comprehensible. My intended audience encompasses not only second-year law students but also professionals such as architects and practicing lawyers.
Furthermore, I’m excited to announce that another one of my books, scheduled soon for release, will be available from the very start of the upcoming law semester on the 25th September 2023. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on its release.
In the meantime, I’d like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Kite for their outstanding service and support. Additionally, I want to extend my thanks to Chief Justice emeritus Joseph Azzopardi and the current Dean of the Faculty of Laws, Dr. Ivan Mifsud, for their valuable contributions to this book.
